Song Titles That Fit My Life

I’ve Only Just Begun

This Land is Your Land

On the Road Again – I love road trips. Nothing is going to stop that 🙂

Over There – To my dad who was on a sub at the end of the war and then transported troops back to the states (took him a year memorizing the eye chart – we think that is what he did). To my uncle who had to drop bombs over Dresden. As most Veterans he didn’t talk about the war much until his later years. As a teacher, principal and superintendent who was loved by everyone, he probably had to compartmentalize his war years. To my mother-in- law – an Army nurse in Washington State. Worked to get the Women’s Memorial. She died before it became a reality, but they did it. To my father in law who was a medic.   All fighting against the Nazi’s and what they represented.
